Speck Funeral Home - Wilma Rose Toole

Mrs. Wilma "Nana Bob" Rose Toole, age 82, of Livingston, TN passed away February 19, 2026 from the comforts from home. Graveside service will be conducted on Monday, February 23rd, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Good Hope Cemetery. Bro Scott Ballard will officiate. Family will welcome friends on Monday, February 23rd from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Toole was born in Cookeville, TN on August 5, 1943 to the late Joe and Erma Chaffin Ballard.  Her greatest joy in life was loving on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing made her smile brighter than hearing their laughter or sharing stories about each one of them. They weren’t just part of her life — they were her whole world. Nana Bob truly never met a stranger. She had a way of turning a simple conversation into a lasting friendship. Whether you were family, friend, or someone she had just met, she made you feel seen, heard, and welcome. She loved people, and people naturally loved her right back. She also found comfort and happiness in reading, often spending quiet moments with a good book in hand. But even in her quiet times, her love for others was always at the center of who she was. Her warmth, kindness, and the way she made everyone feel like family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Wilma Toole is survived by her daughter Brenda Colson of Livingston, TN; grandchildren Scott Colson and wife Crystal of Cookeville, TN, and Brian Colson and wife Hannah of Gallatin, TN; great-grandchildren Scarlett Colson, Sienna Colson, and Carter Colson; and "Like a Son" Bill Linder.

In addition to her parents Wilma is preceded in death by husband William Toole; brothers Jearl Ballard, James Ballard, and Edward Ballard; and sisters Rozell Anderson and Joella Hensley
