Speck Funeral Home - Genat Walker Dixon

Mrs. Genat Walker Dixon, age 78, of Rickman, TN passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from the comforts of her home. Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Nolan Cantrell,  Bro. Bud Hargis, and Bro. Roger Walker will officiate. Burial to follow at Oakley Cemetery. Family will welcome friends on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and then again on Sunday from 9 a.m. until time service.

Mrs. Genat was born in Livingston on June 13, 1947 to the late Fonzo and Glennis Dee Wilson Walker. She loved her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her heart. Being outside made her happiest — whether she was tending to her beautiful flowers, mowing her yard with pride, or simply soaking up the sunshine. She found comfort in her favorite soap operas and inspiration in home interior shows, always dreaming up new ways to make her home warm and welcoming. Her love, warmth, and simple joys created a life full of beauty that will never be forgotten.

Mrs. Genat is survived by her daughter Dianna Loftis and husband David of Cookeville, TN; brother Rick Walker and wife Tresia of Rockwood, TN; granddaughter Tara Burgess and husband Zack; grandson Austin Loftis of Cookeville, TN ; special cousins Carolyn Walker Cato, Mark Walker, and B.B. Cato.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Clenton Dixon.

Pallbearers to serve are Justin Ledbetter, Larry Walker, Gary Walker, Jacob Burgess, Billy Walker, Billy Murohy, Keith Walker, and Jimmy Walker.
